Journal of Comparative Law

About the UWJCL

The University of Warsaw Journal of Comparative Law has been established in June 2013 as a scholarly Journal welcoming legal scholars and professionals from various jurisdictions to contribute to the study of differences and similarities between different legal systems. Its aim is to promote, both at local and international level, the advantages that comparative law offers and the role that it plays in the on-going convergence of legal systems.

The Journal’s commitment is to encourage a dialogue between legal experts from all fields and disciplines of law and to join the global discussion on the comparison, convergence and improvement of legal systems. The UWJCL welcomes all submissions offering either a practical or theoretical comparative perspective on any branch of law. We hope that this publication will foster the study of comparative law among lawyers from all generations and all backgrounds.
